Joins us for a uniqe leadership development experience....

Our program transforms your high potential leaders from functional managers to high performing leaders.....

Over the past two years I have had the opportunity to send three very high potential team  members through the MUMI program. MUMI has helped to take these individuals to the next level of performance.  I have seen  difference in approach as well as outcome on  the many opportunities they are engaged in. Their interaction with others has grown in  ways I had not anticipated, they have become more productive as they have gained the respect of their teammates.  I have seen them go from working harder to working smarter in their approach to meeting goals and objectives. I recommend this program for anyone  seeking to understand who they are, how they impact others, and  what it takes to move  forward in their career.
Robin S Carter, Senior Vice President, Shared Services Accounting

Moving Up Management Intensive (MUMI is a unique, in-depth approach to leadership development which creates an environment that provides minorities and women with the skills and competencies and learning experience required for  senior management positions.  The program explores  effective decision-making processes, power and influence, altering behaviors, recasting mindsets, organizational change, personal negotiation styles, and investing in and managing relationships for greater impact.

A strategic self-development exercise, this course will prepare your managers for current and increased leadership responsibilities by examining themselves as  leaders.   They  will participate in simulations, give and receive feedback, and study leadership moments.....moments that challenged leadership, theirs and others.

 Our Leadership Intensive Program.....

  • Supports organizations who want to maintain a competitive edge
  • Supports organizations who create developmental opportunities for all high potential women and minorities
  • Is a resource that helps organizations with succession planning
  • Focuses on accountability and execution
  • Provides real-time learning that can be immediately transferred to current work situations

We are impacting your employees one person at a time......

Experiential learning:  We don't teach leadership.  We model what we are trying to accomplish through our program.

Real-Time, Real-World Learning: Effective development programs focus on addressing real-time issues in the organization.  We ensure that our participants engage in activities that provide immediate growth and added value to their respective leadership teams.

An On-Going Process: Developing high potentials is not a single event but an on-going process. Our one on one coaching and follow-up to discuss progress and challenges are central to our program.

A Holistic Process:  Participants' supervisors are involved from day one of this program and throughout using competency assessments and coaching sessions for supervisors.  Business and community leaders present their view of the leadership process and what is needed to be a successful leader

Personal Challenge: Change results from challenge.  MUMI challenges participants to develop the more subjective and individualistic abilities - the power to inspire, invent, influence, inform, courage, tolerance for ambiguity, the ability to make teams work, and flexibility.

 Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this ten-course intensive your organization will have high performing leaders who will:
  • Develop a deeper awareness of their own emotional  intelligence
  • Build the competencies they need to create a culture of execution, cooperation and  empowerment for the achievement of common goals
  • Build commitment to a vision through effective communication, and extend their influence to implement strategy
  • Mobilize coalitions and lead and engage their team to share responsibility
  • Negotiate across organizational boundaries to effectively handle interdepartmental conflict and reduce silos

Few training activities are truly transformational.   Your company is undergoing transformation – but are your leaders?

"With 58% of college graduates now female and 70% of new hires female and people of color, developing women and people of color into senior leadership roles is a business necessity, not a social desirable action to take."
